Midterm Research webpage

• 3. Space imaging as a new way to see ourselves... and it's beautiful!
• 4. Molecular Expressions Photo Gallery--stuff too small to see without help!

• Choose one set of images/ideas from the sites above to explore further.
  
• Build a webpage for others to follow in your tracks both seeing what you were interested in and finding links to explore further.
  
• Keep a digital file of your explorations which can be easily turned into a webpage--write notes and copy and paste links.

• A sample student final report

It will help you to develop a background for the above research by visiting these sites:

• read about the history of the web, and report back on your discoveries.

• then visit 3 artist's websites, and then find one of your own and discuss.

• Spend some time with the links where artists using technology are found (Marsden and Wilson's lists)-- this takes some time!

• Develop a research report which should be both visual and informative comparing two kinds of art-tech ideas. See the sample student final where she makes a connection between fractals and crop circles.
• A sample student final report

I will set due dates either in class or via the class mailing list. Reports will be uploaded to the web and can simply use a text editor which automatically saves to html, or another application you chose. I will demonstrate. It's the research and links and images that you'll need to collect for an effective report.
